A native Texan with a passion for dance and fitness, Trey has called Austin home for 14 years. By day, he’s a seasoned recruiter at Meta, leveraging his expertise to connect top technical talent with exciting opportunities.

Beyond his professional pursuits, Trey unleashes his creative energy as a seasoned dance instructor with 11 years of experience. His journey began with Britney’s iconic “…Baby, One More Time” music video, sparking a lifelong passion for dance and performance. Trey has taught various cardio dance formats, including Zumba, Cardio Dance Party, and Danze Jam. Trey also teaches choreography and NonStop (our new and only follow-the-leader format) with DivaDance, where he’s been an integral part of the team for eight years and a member of the DivaDance 5, 6, 7, 8 club.

A dedicated learner, Trey holds a Bachelor’s degree in Management and is poised to graduate with his MBA in January 2025, further solidifying his professional foundation.

Most memorable DivaDance experience: 

I have two; the first being my iconic first class, where I showed up to teach late, in red shorts and flip flops – we’ve come a long way lol! Second; performing in drag as Felicity at our first-annual Slaycation in Miami, FL.

1. I play the clarinet in the Austin Civic Wind Ensemble
2. I drive my dream vehicle, a Jeep Wrangler
3. I have 2 pets; my dog, Chloe and my cat, Charlie, as well as, 3 wild kitties in my backyard, who adopted me.
